Tsai Family of the Parklands

On this the fourth Thursday of April, Megan attended her third Take Our Daughters and Sons To Work Day at NIST.  She was in Dad's group # 24.  She participated in Bill Phillip's demo with liquid nitrogen and laser cooling, the Toastmaster's speech class,measuring tape measures, robot sensing, optics and light, and body armor.  A little break from school and lunch with dad at work are always a refreshing change of pace.

After more than two years of faithful service, with no major service in the shop, we reluctantly sold our sky blue Hyundai Accent.  With a little more than 50,000 miles, the car has performed dutifully in carrying me to work and back.  With sadness, we bid farewell to our little engine that always could.  A fond goodbye!
