Early one morning in January, we made a bold and daring sacrifice to effect a big change in our lives. We decided to downsize and move closer to work. It was bold because buying a house closer to work was a huge challenge. It was daring because the work and time to sell one's house became astronomical and taxing. It was a sacrifice because it was so difficult to leave all that was dear and comfortable and friendly to us and to venture to a new world. That morning, when we awoke and realized that our destiny lie beyond the fields of Damascus. We straightway traveled to a most desirable location in the Parklands. The homes were very beautiful and luxurious and expensive. At first, it seemed beyond our means. But later, we found that it was within our reach. And thus, our dream began.
